Before the second coming of Jesus Christ, there will be all manner of troubles and devastation in the world. The will be so many projects to embark on towards the betterment of lives.
The Helps ministry will be in high demand as there will be many victims of the natural disasters necessitating the need for more internally displaced persons camps (IDP camps).
There will be many hungry people because of the famine that will spread like wildfire as a sign of the things that must be before the coming of the Lord. Hence demanding the intervention of agencies and registered bodies to see to the welfare of the poor and the needy in the Land.
THINGS TO NOTE
- The happenings in the world today are direct fulfilment of the end-time prophecies. Mark 13:7 – 8
- There will be deceivers who will be faking the truth.
- There is a need to maintain our stand in the faith and do the work of the kingdom that is aimed at bringing souls to the kingdom of God.
- We need to engage our faith with works. That’s the practical aspect of our outreach missions in touching the lives of the afflicted.
- More souls can be reached by being more practical in our approach to reaching them.
- People flow well with your message when you show interest in what they are going through.
- The best way to minister the gospel is by identifying with your targets in their troubles.
- Not just seeing the problem but providing a workable solution to meet them at the point of their needs.
- Faith without work (practical action) is dead being alone. The work that accomplishes the preaching of the gospel to the hungry is by providing food to eat, The gospel to the homeless is the provision of shelter etc.
- We must be strategic in our outreach missions in these last days so as to win many souls into God’s kingdom.
- Preaching the gospel in a practical form by mistering to their needs.
