Prosperous New Year greetings to you in Jesus’ most precious name.(Amen) Glory be to God for His grace at work in our lives, His outstretched arm gave us victory and unprecedented success in our outreach mission for the year 2023. Our God is good and He has never left us without a witness, To Him alone be all the glory. Hallelujah!
The happenings in the world today is a clear indication of the fulfilment of the end time prophecies as clearly spelt out in Matthew 24. No doubt, we are in the last days, the worst time for the people in the world but a most glorious time of glorification for the saints of God. A time of darkness and gloominess for the wicked is the shining time for the saints of God. Isaiah 60:1-3 NKJV “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.”
We must understand that our actions determine where we belong in the end time agenda of God. As each passing day is drawing us closer to the second coming of our Lord and Saviour; Jesus Christ. The saints of God must strive to keep their garments clean, watching and waiting steadfastly for the return of the king of glory.
As for us in this organisation, though we have been doing a bit of reaching out and touching lives, in this new year, we must be prepared to do more. We must understand that the best of God is not in the past but in the future. For the path of the just is ordained to shine brighter and brighter until the day of Christ’s return.
The following scriptures tell us what our standpoint should be while waiting for His return.
- As believers our work should be to foster love to God and the brethren as well as promoting the spread of good works to the world as we see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:22-25 NKJV “Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.”
- We are not saved to be in isolation. The main purpose of our salvation is to bring others in darkness to come and experience the joy of salvation. We are now God’s ambassador 2 Cor. 5:17-20 NKJV “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.
- We need to keep at our assignment because a day of reckoning is coming. Matt. 25:31-36 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.”
We must understand that every provision is at our disposal for the fulfilment of the end time mandate of massive influx of souls into God’s kingdom. God is counting on us to bring the lost to Christ at all cost. The following scriptures are clear indication of our calling and ordination:
- We are chosen and ordained to go and bring forth fruit for their establishment in the faith. “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. (John 15:16)
- We have a clear cut vision for reaching out with a clear message. Our message to the dying world is very simple and clear, we are sent to go and preach THE GOSPEL OF PEACE. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” (Romans 10:13-15)
- We are to go to the lost sheep with the message of Jesus Christ; Our Peace. “These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat. And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence. And when ye come into an house, salute it. And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgement, than for that city.” (Matt. 10:5 – 15)
To be an effective minister and a tool in the hand of the Lord for the end time massive harvest of souls, we must understand that there is a need for separation from those that are not going in your direction. The year 2024 shall be a year of definition, only those that matter to your destiny are the ones allowed to be around you this year. It is a year of separation for the manifestation of God’s glory.
“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? and what communion has light with darkness? and what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” “I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.” (2 Corinthians 6:14-18 NKJV)
In the year 2024 and beyond, we trust God to help us spread the gospel of peace unto the ends of the earth. This we believe very strongly to be carried out through our outreach mission project for the year; tagged PROJECT 5224.
To this end, the prophetic word for us to run with as an organisation for the year 2024 is HE IS OUR PEACE “For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation.” (Eph. 2:14 NKJV)
Jesus Christ is our Peace and He has commissioned us as His messenger of peace to go share the gospel of peace to the dying world.
May the peace of God saturate the hearts of everyone member of this organisation, and the same shall flow to the dying world through us in Jesus’ precious name.
May we experience peace like a river thereby being an effective messenger of His peace to the dying world! (Amen).
